Peacock Visual Arts is the main contemporary visual arts organisation in Aberdeen and the North-east of Scotland and is supported by Aberdeen City Council and Creative Scotland.
Dance Live! at Peacock on 5 and 7 October

DanceLive! is organised by citymoves and is a unique short season of dance performances, workshops and a conference in Aberdeen, from 5 October until 20 October. Two shows take place in Peacock's gallery.

Friday 5 October
6pm and 9pm
Tabula Rasa Dance Company presents 'Hlysnan', as part of the Dance Live! festival. 'Hlysnan' is a quiet work of delicate detail and savoured moments, where each shift in the body, in space, in light, becomes an event. Two shows: 6.30pm and 9pm. more details
Sunday 7 October
4pm and 6pm
Articulate animal presents 'Carrier'. 'Carrier' is a new work by Edinburgh based choreographer Sue Hawksley exploring transmission, infection and metamorphosis, ‘conjouring up a world of fear, faith and fakery’, with performer Viv Wood, live music by percussionist Signy Jacobsdottir and design by Selina Nightingale.
