David Blyth (b. 1976, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire) studied Fine Art, followed by an MA in Art and Design at Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen. He lives in Aberdeenshire. Earlier this year his work was shown in solo-exhibition 'Knockturne', at Aberdeen Art Gallery, in which amongst other work he showed 31 stuffed lambs (stillborns). This project was the result of a year-long collaboration with local sheep farmer Duncan Connon during the lambing season in 2006.

Over the past few months David Blyth has been working closely with Peacock printmaker Linsay Croall on an ambitious suite of collaged screenprints, called 'The Little book of Spring Lambs'. This suite uses the popular nursery rhyme Little Bo Peep to introduce and illustrate the notion of Divine Parental Guidance.
