Brian Ross - painting live at Peacock
31 January 2008

15 January - 2 February
daily between 9.30am - 5.30pm
Aberdeen-based artist Brian Ross will paint a new mural on the gallery walls of Peacock Visual Arts. Come and see the artist at work daily from 15 January - 2 February and join us at the closing party on Friday 1 February, 6 -8pm.
Brian, who has recently painted murals at various Aberdeen locations including Transition Extreme Sports Centre, Limousine Bull and Project Slogan, says: "This project is a test of my abilities to improvise, with a short period of time and a large area to cover. While the final image is important to me, it is the creation of each individual shape, and its effect on each shape that follows it, that I find compelling."
Brian will document his work as it develops to chart the change and progress of his freely drawn intricate interlocking shapes across our walls.
