10 March 2008

Peacock will be making a highly anticipated return to the Glasgow Art Fair this year which runs from Thursday 27th March to Sunday 30th March. The fair will provide a great opportunity for us to showcase the great work of our printmakers to the press and prospective buyers. Of course it also gives us the chance to present the plans for the new centre for contemporary arts to a national audience. We will have the model on display at our stand.

Scotland's National Art Fair returns to the heart of Glasgow's city centre for its 13th year - a city with an internationally renowned reputation as a centre for contemporary visual arts.

Presenting artwork across all media from 46 galleries representing over 1000 artists, Glasgow Art Fair is the place to buy, sell and view art with the widest range of contemporary work outside of London.

This year's Fair will feature the largest selection of galleries yet with many international galleries and ones exhibiting for the very first time in Scotland. Whatever your tastes or budget, there will be something to suit with artists on display ranging from household names to emerging talents. Featured artists include Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Joan Eardley, SJ Peploe, Leslie Hunter, John Byrne, Terry Frost, Craig Mullholland, Kenny Hunter, Damien Hirst, Tracy Emin, Banksy, Dalziel + Scullion and Rosalind Nashashibi.

Don't forget that if you see something you like, you could even take it home with you that day. So make sure you get wrapped up in the Glasgow Art Fair!
