CASTLEGATE. Craig Barrowman

14 February - 28 March

Opening Friday 13 February 6-8pm. With performance by Ruaraidh Sanachan.

Aberdeen’s Castlegate is a historic market square through which thousands of Aberdonians pass daily to and from the beach, harbour and city centre. In the narrow alleyways surrounding the square you can find giant reptiles, early opening ale-houses, music, seagulls, religion and art. Local artist Craig Barrowman brings together different experiences and elements of this truly unique civic square. The show includes photographs, sound, and interactions with the inhabitants of this colourful part of the city.
