17 April 2009
18 April - 30 May
Preview night Friday 17 April, 6 - 8pm. All welcome
This retrospective exhibition by Aberdeen artist James Furneaux showcases a wonderful visual account of the topography of Aberdeen over the past 50 years, as well as some rarely seen portraits. Furneaux is most noted for painting Aberdeen’s lesser-known buildings and landmarks from unusual perspectives and his early training in architecture is apparent in his depiction of the city’s buildings. The exhibition focuses on Furneaux's original paintings, drawings and prints, presenting his diverse body of work from the 1950s to the present.
