Update on Art Centre plans

Some of you will have seen the latest pictures of the proposals for Union Terrace Gardens backed by Sir Ian Wood of the proposals for Union Terrace Gardens backed by Sir Ian Wood recently and will be wondering what it means for Peacock. As so many of you have been supportive of Peacock's plans to develop a new Centre for Contemporary Arts for Aberdeen we wanted to update you as best we can. Peacock have not yet had the chance to discuss the results of the feasibility study into Union Terrace Gardens with our board and our funders, and as these discussions will be key to our future we have been unable to pass comment to date. However, we expect these discussions to take place soon and then will be able to say a bit more about what it means for the future of a new centre for contemporary arts for Aberdeen.
