Scotland v Denmark

Coinciding with the 2006 World Cup, the first Scottish staging of the International Art Cup takes place in Huntly on 23-25 June. This year Scotland plays Denmark. If you can't make it to Huntly 360TV will broadcast the match on the internet, on Tuesday night 27 June.

Selection to participate is based equally on footballing ability and artistic achievement. After great athletic and artistic performance in Finland last year, Peacock's David McCracken will again be one of the star players.

The Art Cup is half exhibition half football game, creating a community that are simultaniously artists and sportsmen. This year's project is organised by Roddy Buchanan in collaboration with Deveron Arts. Nuno Sacramento curates the exhibition. Huntly FC will be supporting this year's venture, following previous international matches in Lisbon, Helsinki and Belgrade.

Art Cup 2006 Events

Exhibition opens Friday 23 June, 6pm at Huntly FC Social Club. The exhibition is open all weekend from 11am till late.
