NEOS Participants & Audience
NEOS was primarily set up to provide a focus in the year for arts & craft practitioners to interface directly with the public.
NEOS is not a promotional company - it is simply a "blank canvas" platform for practitioners to use to advertise their own work and practice.
In 2009 there were an estimated 15,000 visitors to the 222 participants, confirming that there is a thirst from the public to see and experience creative practice in the North East of Scotland.
NEOS is more than "just" Scotland's largest open studios event. The catalogue is also a high quality, year round directory for practitioners operating in the North East.
