Screen Machine takes the Cowboy & the Spaceman to the Highlands
29 June 2006

Peacock's latest film 'The Cowboy & the Spaceman' directed by Orkney artist Colin Kirkpatrick made a special appearance up in Ullapool and Lochinver on 24 and 25 June courtesy of the smart new Screen Machine 2 Mobile Cinema.
Puck's film was in good company being screened alongside Katrina McPherson’s documentary on the demise of salmon netting, 'Catching the Tide'.
These events were the first of a series to take place in Screen Machine, devised by Rural Cinema North to make a wider range of non-mainstream non-Hollywood films accessible to rural communities, and to promote the work of local filmmakers.
