Podcast alternative Guide to Granite City

22 July 2006

The MPsix 'Listing to your city' workshops held at Peacock visual arts between 10 and 14 July have resulted in the production of an alternative visitors' Audioguide / podcast ''more interested in skateparks than tearooms''.

Read the article in the Press & Journal, 15 July 2006.

A group of enthusiastic young Aberdonians learnt all about how to produce a podcast during the 5-day workshop led by Peacock's 360TV coordinator Jack Keenan, sound artist Bill Thomson and Ali Bell from The Lighthouse.

Together with guides to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Stirling and Inverness, the Aberdeen guide will be available from September 2006 on the MPsix Website as a podcast.

A project in association with The Lighthouse Centre for Architecture, Design and the City
