Mary Ferguson awarded 2006 RSA / Peacock Moving Image Award

Peacock is proud to announce that this year's winner of the Royal Scottish Academy/Peacock visual arts Moving Image Award is Mary Ferguson. A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, we look forward to supporting and working with Mary over the coming year.

This award is given out annually to one artist exhibiting in the Royal Scottish Academy Student Exhibition. The award provides access to support, equipment and training by Peacock's digital department according to the winners' needs and wishes.

The first winner of the Peacock/RSA Moving Image Award, Briony Anderson, used the opportunity to create work for her first major solo exhibition. Along with her partner Paul Macgee, she produced new video work that formed the centerpiece of their recent show at Aberdeen's Limousine Bull.
