More music this weekend with Isan + Tomcats in Tokyo and Audrey

30 October 2006

Halfway through 'Month of Mayhem' Peacock visual arts is now turning into a real all-round contemporary arts venue with even more live music coming up this weekend. On Friday Isan (UK) and Tomcats in Tokyo (France) will bring you electronic music; Saturday promises to be a wonderful evening with a performance by Swedish all-girl band Audrey.

Friday 3 November, 8pm: Isan + Tomcats In Tokyo

Tickets on the door £6

Isan's Robin Saville and Antony Ryan work separately from each other most of the time, communicating via post and internet. Periodically notes are compared and directions noted, the end result is a hopefully coherent body of work for which the pair consider themselves jointly responsible... www.isan.co.uk

Describing Audrey's music is no easy task. If the group has succeeded in finding a central theme, it's a balance in the melodies - shimmering, beautiful moments of pop meet dark sadness. www.myspace.com/audreyswe
