Black Sea Files - video installation by Ursula Biemann

30 July 2007

With this video installation on the politics of oil in the Caspian region, Swiss artist, theorist and curator Ursula Biemann connects those local developments to the global economy, which Aberdeen plays such a pivotal role in.

The Black Sea Files is an artistic investigation into the Caspian oil geography and encounter with oil workers, famers, refugees and prostitutes who live along the new Baku- Tbilisi - Ceyhan pipeline.

  • Preview Night, Friday 29 June, 6 - 8 pm. Admission free, all welcome.
