19thCall for submissions: A6 Christmas show

Every year Peacock visual arts gives local, national and international artists the opportunity to submit artworks for the always popular Christmas exhibition. 2006 sees a 'down-sizing' of the works from A5 to A6: postcard size! Submit your work before the 31st of October. Exhibition opens Friday November 17th.
18thOpen now: exhibition by comic book artist Ventedspleen

Comic book artist Tom Humberstone, alias Ventedspleen, shows 16 of his illustrations related to art and music. 'Making a virtue of disappointment' runs from 7 Oct-11 Nov.
2ndMonth of Mayhem starts with night of electronic music
Friday 6 October is the start of Peacock's Month of Mayhem, a dynamic short season full of events including an exhibition, contemporary dance and a lot of live music in the gallery! From 8pm Interesting Music Promotions brings you Wixel, Talkingmakesnosense and Andy da Kipp.
13th19 + 20 October: DanceLive! in the gallery

On Thursday and Friday night 19 and 20 October Peacock visual arts hosts two 'DanceLive' performances in the gallery space, part of a series of dance and live music events in Aberdeen from 12th -21st October, organised by Citymoves Dancespace.

30thMore music this weekend with Isan + Tomcats in Tokyo and Audrey
Halfway through 'Month of Mayhem' Peacock visual arts is now turning into a real all-round contemporary arts venue with even more live music coming up this weekend. On Friday Isan (UK) and Tomcats in Tokyo (France) will bring you electronic music; Saturday promises to be a wonderful evening with a performance by Swedish all-girl band Audrey.
