8thUntil 17 November: Just Print

On Friday 12 October 'Just Print' opens, a great show revealing what work Peacock's printmakers have produced over the past two years. Showcasing prints by both upcoming and established artists, including Kenny Hunter, Delia Baillie, Rosalind Nashashibi and many others. The preview night starts at 6pm. All welcome. Exhibition runs from 13 October until 17 November.
8thTuesday 9 Oct: GMAC Shortcuts
Glasgow's Media Access Centre's new short film initiative is looking for ideas in drama, documentary, mixed media and animation. On Tuesday 9 October, 6pm, they'll be at Peacock, screening some short films and giving an introduction to the application process. Admission free, all welcome.
9thSaturday 13 October: Talk by Michael Visocchi

As part of the exhibition 'Just Print', Michael Visocchi gives a talk about his work on Saturday 13 October, between 2 and 4pm. All welcome, admission free.
29thSaturday 10 Nov: Talk by Kenny Hunter

Kenny Hunter is a Glasgow-based sculptor who makes work for both gallery and public environments, shown in numerous public places across Scotland, the UK and abroad. His work is primarily figurative and is concerned with the connections between historical sculptural form and contemporary culture. In the past year he has worked on a suite of screenprints with Peacock's printmakers, referencing men who wrote about and defined modernity. Kenny will give a talk about his work on Saturday 10 November, at 2pm. Admission free.
12th19 October: live music with Francois & the Atlas Mountains

On Friday 19 October Interesting Music Promotions presents another line-up of fabulous artists in Peacock's intimate gallery space. This time it's French singer and multi-instrumentalist Francois and his Bristol-based folk-ensemble the Atlas Mountains. Francois is also bringing fellow artist Rozi Plain. Support by Aberdeen band Lazy Sheepdog. Don't miss this evening of wonderful tunes. Doors open 8pm. Tickets on the door £5.
22ndThis Friday + Saturday: theatre performance Droopy Met Hal

Edinburgh Fringe fans will love this: Dudendance Scotland and Fabrik Potsdam Germany present Droopy Met Hal, an innovative show of physical theatre and film. Location: Peacock's gallery. Starts 8pm. Admission free. "A gorgeous hour of bizarre action, live and on screen, that melded surreal fairytale with echoes of Hollywood and the scuzzy underbelly of cabaret....so astutely grotesque, comedic and haunting you're left longing for more" - The Herald
30thSaturday 3 Nov: Talk by David Blyth

In 2006 artist David Blyth worked together with a local sheep farmer during the lambing season, which resulted in the solo exhibition Knockturne in Aberdeen Art Gallery earlier this year. Over the past few months the artist has been working closely with Peacock on an ambitious suite of collaged screenprints, called 'The Little book of Spring Lambs'. Join David and printmaker Linsay Croall in the workshop for an informal Q + A session. Starts 2pm, admission free.
