23rdThe Ark is ready for the floods

After spending a week diving into skips and bins for building material, artist/activist The Vacuum Cleaner has now finished a magnificent Ark out of cardboard. With his project he tries to draw attention to the growing concerns over climate change. The Ark was launched last night at 7pm. See the pictures here...
22ndBrad Downey presents film of 'heart action'

On 10 May, the New York artist Brad Downey climbed scaffolding outside a building in Aberdeen’s King Street and ‘redesigned’ the red tarpaulin by cutting out a giant heart. The action, which attracted a lot of press, has been recorded on video and the artist will present the film of the action on 5 June, 7.30pm, at Aberdeen's brand new extreme sports centre Transition Extreme.
