3rdCity council confirms £3m capital grant for contemporary arts centre

Peacock Visual Arts is delighted to announce that Aberdeen city councillors this week confirmed a £3m capital grant for the scheme to build a new contemporary arts centre in the heart of the city. Resources management committee members voted overwhelmingly in favour of granting the money for the proposed project. We received thousands of messages of support in the run-up to this decision and would like to thank you all for your help in getting us through these challenging times. We are proud and grateful to have your support and will endeavour to deliver a project that will benefit the entire region.

28thPeacock teams up with Citymoves in 'Fast + Dirty' performance

29thOver £9m of core funding now in place for new art centre

The development of the iconic new arts centre in Aberdeen's Union Terrace Gardens took a big step forward this month. We have now secured a further £5 million towards the development in addition to the Scottish Arts Council's lottery grant of £4.3million.
