As part of the show No Time to Lose we're screening four short videos around the theme (over)work. Work [Kika Thorne, 1999] / The Measure of Success [Coleen Finlayson & Cherie Moses, 1987] / A Cure for Being Ordinary [Emily Vey Duke & Cooper Battersby, 6 min, 2005] / Dreams of the Night Cleaners [Leila Sujir, 43 min, 1996]. Total running time: just over one hour. Starts 7pm. Entry free! All welcome.
21st'Block of Ice' in gallery 22 - 26 July

Can you work even while you are asleep? Artist Tobaron Waxman proves with Block of Ice + 1/60, that he can. His impressive performance connecting labour and water ecology is the final part of 'No Time to Lose', an exhibition exploring the theme of 'overwork'. This impressive installation involving a heavy 200 pound block of ice suspended from the gallery ceiling.

In Peacock's new exhibition By-catch artists Höhne & Gismarvik investigate the declining fishing industry in Aberdeen and the North East in dialogue with Fisherman George, Wheelie's Quines, The Harbour Master, Captain Birds Eye and many others. An exhibition in text, photography, video and installation, it also includes a new twist to fish n' chip wrapping paper. Runs until 20 September.
