Peacock teams up with Citymoves in 'Fast + Dirty' performance

As part of 'Dance Live!', Aberdeen's contemporary dance festival, Peacock Visual Arts teamed up with organisers Citymoves to create the interactive dance project 'Fast + Dirty'. Performed at the Lemon Tree, on Friday 24 October.

Second Language Film Completed

Peacock's Digital Department has completed an animated short which highlights the benefits of having bilingual pupils in the classroom. A young Polish girl and her Scottish classmates were interviewed about the highs and lows of moving through the school system when english is not your first language. To break the ice we introduced the kids to the animation technique of Pixilation. The resulting interviews were edited and the kids 're-cast' as cartoon versions of themselves.

This project is a collaboration between Peacock Visual Arts, Inverurie Academy and Aberdeenshire Council.
