Edinburgh-based artist David Rushton shows earlier work with recent work including scale models and videos produced during his pARTners residency with Peacock Visual Arts and Station House Media Unit from July to December 2007. Rushton was a founder member of the Analytical Art group in the 1960s and a member of Art & Language until 1975 and particularly involved in the A-L Indexes. Rushton map's art as idea over intervening years a conversational way of working made concrete under market conditions and a compliant historical revision.

'Memory Maps' also places Rushton's twenty year project to introduce local public broadcasting onto an evolutionary path of conceptual art.

While recent manifestations of local TV feature in this exhibition this will be more substantially reflected at the 3rd Scottish Local TV Forum at the Aberdeen Town House on 2nd April 1.30-4.30. Being held for the first time in Aberdeen. This annual Forum progresses the public demand for a more local participatory broadcasting space.
