Bycatch

Preview night Friday 8 August, 6 - 8pm

Bycatch refers to discarded fish unintentionally caught by trawlers. Höhne & Gismarvik investigate the declining fishing industry in Aberdeen and the North East in dialogue with Fisherman George, The Gutters, Sir William Piper, Wheelie's Quines, The Harbour Master, Captain Birds Eye and many others.

Working within the media of text, photography, video and installation, this exhibition also includes a new twist to fish n’ chips wrapping paper and a bycatch cookery workshop. Bycatch will have a cod lot more to see than you haddock think!
