Tamarind Impressions
10 October - 14 November, 2009
Launch & demonstrations: Saturday 10 October, 10am - 4pm. All welcome
Our Printmaker Linsay Croall has recently returned home after a busy nine months studying at the Tamarind Institute in New Mexico - the world centre of excellence for hand printed Lithographs. On show are a variety of prints covering a wide range of Lithographic techniques: from extensive technical tests to stunning collaborations with fellow artists.
The afternoon opening on Saturday 10th October is the perfect opportunity to visit the workshop and find out more about this fascinating technique. Pop into the Litho department for explanations, demos, chilli stew and Albuquerque anecdotes.
Linsay's time at Tamarind was made possible with kind thanks to:
- Dewar Arts Award
