Thursday 19 October: Colette Sadler. DdumY. A dance performance in two acts

Colette Sadler presents a mesmerising performance that, ‘slips, falls and transforms our perception of what the body is or can be ……’.

Set within an itinerant performance space made up of everyday objects, DdumY confronts the human conditions of speech, action, memory and repetition as means by which to articulate a sense of self, other and of world. Using slips, falls, bodily transformations, and drawing on the burlesque traditions of tap and ventriloquism, DdumY questions through dance what a body is, is not, and can become.
