'Architecture in Scotland' is a biennial review of Scottish architecture, featuring urban, suburban and rural architecture and landscape projects. The exhibition and accompanying publication reflect the diversity of building projects in Scotland today. The third in this series of reviews looks specifically at defining ‘place’ and highlights Scotland’s most recent and distinct projects opening up a discourse around ideas of place through an examination on issues that are particular to each.

‘Defining Place’ is a touring exhibition created by The Lighthouse, Centre for Architecture and Design, Glasgow, and is part of the National Programme of activities informed by the Scottish Executive's Policy on Architecture.
