Etching – Entry Level:
This workshop will start with a tour of Frances Walkers latest show. Michael Waight, Master Printmaker, will lead you through Walkers process and how you can apply it to your own etchings. You will learn how to make simple etchings by exposing metal lines for the acid to etch and thereby create a repeatable plate. These will be printed onto paper and coloured tissue can be used to experiment with other ways of printing. This workshop is perfect for anyone approaching Etching Printing for the first time or to brush up on your existing skills.
